Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa has signed a deal with Andritz to rehabilitate its 50-year-old hydro plant. The state-controlled IPP, which recently posted record financial results, is also seeking partners for a large solar PV plant and hydro expansion, and has received approval to take a large stake in another Zambezi River hydro megaproject.
