Mozambique Oil & Gas: Country to earn $16Bi with Coral FLNG

The Mozambican government is expected to earn $ 16 billion over the 25-year exploration of the Coral Sul natural gas project, which was launched on Thursday and was rated by the promoters as “just an appetizer.”

“It’s a great appetizer, it’s a lunch, a dinner, but we’d rather call it an appetizer compared to the much larger reserves that Mozambique has,” said Claudio Descalzi, managing director of the Italian oil company ENI.
