Mozambique Mining Industry: Ancuabe project provides more graphite to Triton Minerals
Boyle said the company would continue with rapid development of the Monte Nicanda project and continue to explore the Ancuabe project, “which is expected to reveal itself as a large high quality graphite deposit.”
In late 2014 a geophysical aerial survey programme of the Ancuabe project was completed over a distance of 1800 kilometres and although most of the data is still being processed, Triton Minerals could already confirm the occurrence of three high quality graphite outcrops.
The company sent 100 kilogrammes of samples to the Mintek laboratory in Johannesburg, South Africa, to analyse the content of graphite and determine the best methods to extract the mineral, and first results should be known by the end of next March. (macauhub/MZ)
