Mining Companies: Vale may create new company with base metals assets, analysts say

Market analysts have raised the possibility of the Brazilian Vale SA meet the basic metals assets, such as copper, nickel and gold, in a new company. If confirmed, the division of the Vale, motivated by the fall in iron ore prices, goes along with the measure of BHP Billiton, which announced in August the separation of its assets.(Infomine.com)
