Mozambique Oil & Gas Industry: clarification on Eni CEO’s remuneration

Eni clarifies that the total remuneration paid to  Chief Executive Officer Paolo Scaroni in 2013 amounted to €4.555 million, 29%  lower than his remuneration in 2012

San Donato Milanese (MI), 3 April 2014 – Eni, the oil company operating a gas block in the Mozambican Rovuma Basin area 4,  announced that the total remuneration paid to Chief Executive Officer Paolo Scaroni in 2013 amounted to €4.555 million, 29% lower than his remuneration in 2012 (€ 6.397 million).

The amount of € 5.81 million noted in the hearing held at the Italian Senate on 2 April  2014 refers to a theoretical present value of the compensation package, made solely for purposes of homogeneous comparison with other companies in accordance with international methodologies.
